About Emerging Femtech

Established in 2023, Emerging Femtech is a virtual event series that aims to highlight and foster dialogue on the vital role of innovation in advancing women’s health.

In addition to in-depth discussions with industry experts, Emerging Femtech aims to provide attendees with insights into careers in entrepreneurship and venture capital and to facilitate valuable networking opportunities.

About the Organizers

Heer Joisher is a PhD candidate studying molecular and cellular biology at Harvard University.

Sharan Rai is a postdoc at Harvard University, where she also completed her PhD in Population Health Sciences.

Kimia Sorouri is a postdoc and MPH graduate at Harvard University. She is also an OB/GYN resident in Canada.

Katherine Suarez is a PhD candidate in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program at Harvard University.

Nivedhitha Velayutham is a postdoc in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard University.

Tina Yi-Jin Hsieh is an MD MPH pursing an MS in Bioinformatics at Harvard University.
